Women's History Month Workshop: Ikebana Unbound
- Description
Join us for a calm afternoon exploring the art of modern ikebana—a peaceful retreat into mindfulness through floral design. This experience invites you into a state of quiet contemplation and self-discovery as you work with the natural beauty of flowers.
Instructed by Skye, you'll create expressive arrangements using our signature Lotus Vessel—an elegant white ceramic vessel featuring openings of different sizes that cradle your chosen stems perfectly. This versatile piece holds water and can transform any space—displayed on a table, shelf, or suspended with ribbon for a floating garden effect.
During this serene session, you'll:
Discover how the intentional placement of each stem becomes a form of moving meditation
Learn to appreciate negative space as essential to beauty, a principle applicable beyond flowers
Express your unique perspective through botanical composition
Take home both your creation and the Lotus Vessel —continuing your mindfulness practice whenever you refresh your arrangement
No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and openness to this restorative creative practice.
